Catching Up!

International Day at Atlapa
Sponsored by the Social and Diplomatic Women's Association (rough translation)

Each year this organization sets up booths dedicated to countries all around the world to represent their food and culture.  This serves an educational weekend for families and a great fundraiser for charity.

El Valle de Anton

About 90 minutes from Panama City by car, El Valle as its name suggests is a valley known for its poisonous yellow frogs and beautiful rain forest like agriculture.

Of course we stopped at Quesos Chela.

The market

"Please, do not squeeze. And if you want to squeeze, squeeze the coconuts"

We had a gorgeous lunch at La Casa de Lourdes

And then we went in search for frogs! ...and failed.

This tree has bumps.
